As I will specialize in Tienda, the new ecommerce extension by Dioscouri.com, my shows will have a decidedly Tienda bias.

This week I was asked: what is Blog Talk Radio?

Blog Talk Radio is an established site where anyone can have their own internet radio show.

The basics are free. Just sign-up and away you go. Of course, there are premium features. Back when BTR was new, everything was free, but those days are over!

You broadcast live. You can have phone in guests -- via telephone or via Skype. Your shows are available for on-demand listening on the site; and, on the iTunes podcast directory.

These shows are more work than I thought.

I'm learning that I have to schedule guests well in advance.

Upcoming guests include Adria from Zendesk.com and Ian Macennan from the Joomla Project.

I'm learning that I have to take notes during the show to prevent silent pauses while I remember things on-air.

I'm listening to podcasts and radio shows to learn how others do it. It sure seems easy listening to someone else!

Tienda is in version 0.3 alpha.

Announced on Twitter is Tienda's March 29th production beta release. Moving right along!
